    I first got sciatica while pregnant with my son, but unfortunately it continued long after he was delivered. I still suffer from it occasionally, and had always figured that if an exercise didn’t hurt, then it was probably okay to do.     I have disk problems in my lower back which basically pulls my trunk slightly to the left side putting undue pressure on my left side…I have had my left knee operated on, I have plantars on my left heel and my doctor is concerned about my left hip. Other than that I occasionally suffer from good old sciatica. I really appreciate this article as there are two or three of the exercises described here that I do.(Bent over rows and leg curls while on my stomach…I need to use a different machine) I had no idea that those exercises could contribute to the problem. I thought that I was doing a good thing. Luckily in both cases there are better alternatives available at my gym. Thanks for the tips
